According to God’s grace and mercy, He allowed me the privilege to be raised in a family where the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ was taught. At five years of age, in 1963, after an evening service at Sterling Baptist Church in Sterling, Alaska, I was led to the Lord by my father, the pastor of the church. Obedience to the Lord in the waters of believer’s baptism took place in 1966 at Soldotna Baptist Church in Soldotna, Alaska. God’s call to the ministry was felt as a young person, and training took place at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN. The door to ministry opened in April 1987 at North Eulalia Baptist Church where it has been my privilege to serve to the present time.
